LHS CHOIRS
Loveland High School Choirs are some of the best in the Thompson School District. LHS is able to offer beginning choirs for males and females as well as the more advanced (auditioned) Choirs such as Mixed Choir, Bella Voce, Chamber Choir, and Jazz Choir.
Kaia Monson
Choir & Musical Theatre Director
Choir and Musical Theatre Director, Ms. Kaia Monson, is in her 5th year of teaching in public schools. Ms. Monson was born and raised in Iowa, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Luther College. She completed her student teaching in the Fall of 2017 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and at Cherry Creek High School in Denver, Colorado. After student teaching, she stepped in as the Director of Vocal Music during the Spring of 2018 at Elizabeth High School, spending nearly 5 years there. She is now looking forward to a fantastic first year at Loveland High School! Ms. Monson is currently working on her Masters of Music Education - Conducting Specialization from Colorado State University in Fort Collins where she resides. Ms. Monson has an Australian Cattle Dog named Finn and enjoys hiking, camping, and water skiing in her spare time.
